Resumen de La Reforma Universitaria de 1918. Resistencias de un proyecto emancipador.

  Los procesos emancipatorios de América Latina no sólo debieron romper con todo el bagaje propio del colonialismo europeo, sino que también debieron enfrentarse a la tradición más fuerte y activa, al menos en la ciudad de Córdoba: La iglesia católica. Este artículo se propone indagar –a través de análisis interpretativos- sobre el tratamiento mediático de un periódico vocero de la curia local y el tratamiento de otro periódico con mirada más liberal. Es interesante reconstruir el clima de época a través de las notas periodísticas, las cuales dejan entrever las tensiones y conflictos que surgían por la agitación de esta juventud universitaria, quienes habían decidido pensar la universidad como un lugar de liberación, un espacio privilegiado para la ciencia y para la formación de una patria unida. En el año del centenario de esta Reforma no es poca cosa retomar sobre esos impulsos que la llevaron a cabo.

  The emancipatory processes of Latin America not only had to break with all the baggage of European colonialism but also had to face the strongest and most active tradition, at least in Córdoba city: The Catholic Church. This article intends to investigate -through interpretative analysis- the media coverage of a newspaper favorable to the Church and the coverage of another one more liberal on its views. It is interesting to reconstruct that time through journalistic notes which hint at the tensions and conflicts that arose from the turmoil of this university youth, who had decided to think of the university as a place of liberation, a privileged space for science and for the formation of a united homeland. In the centenary of this reform, it is not a small thing to return to those impulses that carried it out.
