Resumen de Narrativa en una muestra de cortometrajes animados verdes exhibidos en Festiverd

  Pese a que el cine ambiental ha tenido un auge importante no ha sido explorado más profusamente en el género animación. En festivales de cine latinoamericanos e iberoamericanos la participación de nuevas generaciones de directores da cuenta de nuevas tendencias narrativas. En el Festival Internacional de Cine y Video Verde Venezuela (Festiverd), desde 2013 ha habido una presencia significativa de cortometrajes animados con una marcada función política y ecológica que se adhieren a acuerdos internacionales y necesidades globales. El propósito del estudio es caracterizar la narrativa de los animados verdes que han sido parte de la competencia oficial del Festiverd entre 2013 y 2016. La selección de estos cortometrajes obedece no solo a la facilidad de visionado para los investigadores sino a lo abundante y variada de la muestra. Son 18 piezas realizadas con diferentes técnicas de animación y temáticas verdes, procedentes de 9 países. La descripción de la narrativa se centrará en la acción de los personajes (visibles a través de códigos visuales y sonoros), permitiendo de este modo comparar los focos narrativos con los énfasis temáticos de los principales Acuerdos Multilaterales Ambientales impulsados por el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA).

  Although environmental cinema has had a major boom has not been explored more profusely in the genre animation. In Latin American and Latin American film festivals, the participation of new generations of directors gives account of new narrative tendencies. In International Festival of Green Film and Video Venezuela (Festiverd), since 2013 there has been a significant presence of animated short films with a strong political and ecological function that adhere to international agreements and global needs. The purpose of the study is to characterize the narrative of the animated greens that have been part of the official competition of Festiverd between 2013 and 2016. The selection of these short films is due not only to the ease of viewing for the researchers but also to the abundant and varied the sample. They are 18 pieces made with different techniques of animation and green themes, coming from 9 countries. The description of the narrative will focus on the action of the characters (visible through visual and sound codes), allowing to compare the narrative focuses with the thematic emphases of the main Multilateral Environmental Agreements promoted by the United Nations Program For the Environment (UNEP).
