  • The article discusses the Internet as an increasing source of disinformation which is the deliberate act of spreading false information. The author uses the debate on U.S. health care reform as an example of fabrications by individuals driving protesters to argue that their access to health care will be undermined should health care reform be enacted. He discusses what he feels makes people susceptible to disinformation in public discourse.
