  • The article examines how marine zoning is a bold remedy for protecting the environmental health of the world's oceans. According to the author, protecting the oceans is a matter of national policy in many countries which has been advocated by conservationists for many years. Topics include the challenges to managing the ocean through zoning laws, such as vastness of water real estate, and how zoning would change the way fisheries and industries operate.
