  • The article examines the question of how evolution can help humans imagine what extraterrestrial beings might look like. The author argues that the perception of extraterrestrials being bipedal-like primates is nonexistent and offers reasons regarding why he believes this to be so, including the high improbability of the origin of high intelligence. The author notes that of all the species on Earth only man has achieved the kind of intelligence necessary to build civilizations.
