    • The article presents an explanation for the origin of rainbows. The rainbow consists of multicolored arcs with the outside arc, which is called the main bow, darkened by the sky and the second arc with its colors in reverse order. Topics include a historical overview of the first scientific explanations of rainbows which dates to the 14th century, the central principal of the rainbow, such as the function of water droplets in their formation, and what the angle of the rainbow means.
