  • Resumen
    • The article focuses on John Baldessari, who, in continuance to work with movie images in his two latest series, "Windows" and ''Columns," has broached a new format and a more dramatic use of color. In his activities both as an art teacher and as an internationally renowned artist, John Baldessari has long been recognized as one of the progenitors of postmodern art. While academics write unreadable tones about the nature of representation and the frailty of meaning, Baldessari, whose career is now in its fifth decade, deftly illuminates these issues with his photo-based art works.
