The article reports on the addition and renovation of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, designed by Michael Graves which opens to the public on June 11, 2006. The core building was created by McKim, Mead and White in 1916, while the two flanking wings added by Kenzo Tange in 1974. Graves' design adds to both McKim's Neo-Classicism and Tange's minimalism.
