New on naoshima

  • This article notes the opening of the Chichu Art Museum on Naoshima Island in Japan. This building, designed by the architect Tadao Ando, is described in terms of the incorporation of natural light within the venue. Art installations by James Turrell and Walter De Maria that were integrated within the building are assessed.
