  • This article discusses the planned opening of the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar. This museum, designed by architect I. M. Pei, features design elements drawn from the Mosque of Ahmad Ibn Tulun in Cairo, Egypt. The employment of Oliver Watson as the director of this museum and Roger Mandle as the executive director of the Qatar Museums Authority is described.
