Resumen de Los conflictos en la literatura infantil y juvenil:: Una lección para el lector

  Este artículo aborda algunos de los temas que hasta entonces se han considerado como tabú en la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil, los cuales permiten que el menor pueda gestionar las emociones que experimenta al padecer los efectos de la guerra y los conflictos.

  En primer lugar, se analizan los temas más recurrentes presentes en esta literatura para abordar posteriormente hasta qué punto son temas apropiados para estos lectores.

  El objetivo de este trabajo es el de concienciar sobre la importancia del tipo de materiales a los que se expone a la infancia, puesto que estos contenidos presentados en formatos diversos influyen en el desarrollo psicológico y físico del menor. De este modo, no puede subestimarse la influencia que ejerce esta literatura en los niños y jóvenes.   This paper will discuss how certain taboo themes throughout Children’s Literature can help the child to deal with the emotions felt after living the experience of war and conflict.

  First, an analysis about the recurrent themes dealt with in Children’s Literature will be presented together with a discussion on the degree of appropriateness of these topics for those readers.

  The purpose of this study is to raise awareness about the importance of the type of materials children are exposed to since these contents presented in several formats are part of the child’s psychological and physical development. The influence of Children’s Literature cannot be underestimated.

  This paper is a reflection on Children’s Literature and current themes addressed by this Literature.
