  Se describe la utilización del iohexol (Ornnitrast) en las mielografías cervicales y toracolumbares de 38 perros. El iohexol es un medio de contraste radiológico nuevo, no iónico e hidrosoluble. La buena tolerancia del producto y la ausencia de reacciones secundarias en los casos clínicos descritos, hacen muy aconsejable la utilización del iohexol como medio de contraste radiológico en la mielografía del perro. * The use of iohexol (Omnitrast) in cervical and thoracolumbar myelograpbies is described in 38 dogs. Iohexol is a neto, non-ionic, hydrosoluble radiographic contrast medium. The correct tolerance of the product and the lack of side effects in the clinical cases described, make the use of iohexol highly recommendable as an X-ray contrast medium in dog myelographies.
