Resumen de Incertidumbres y certezas en el problema textual del «Buscón»: sus implicaciones ecdóticas

Se presenta un replanteamiento nuevo del problema textual del Buscón, diferenciando entre datos inciertos y seguros. Los primeros atañen a la interpretación de sus variantes redaccionales, que apuntan a la existencia de dos versiones de la obra en la fase manuscrita y a una posible intervención de Quevedo, limitada y puntual, en el texto de la edición príncipe, censurado y revisado estilísticamente para su impresión. Parece bastante seguro que los testimonios de lanovela siguieron el orden cronológico SCBZ, siendo las fuentes manuscritas anteriores al impreso. Entre los escasos datos indudables sobre la transmisión de la obra se destaca la condición de la princeps como textus receptus consentido por el autor. Finalmente, se defiende la elección del primer impreso como texto base para una edición crítica del Buscón.

This work proposes a new reconsideration of the textual problem in the Buscón, distinguishing between doubtful and certain data. The first ones are concerned with the interpretation of its textual variants, that point out the existence of two versions of the work in the manuscript phase and a possible intervention by Quevedo, limited and occasional, in the text of the first edition, censored and stylistically revised in order to print it. It seems quite sure that the testimonies of the novel followed the chronological order SCBZ, so that the manuscripts are previous to the printed book. Among the few certain data about the transmission of the work, it is remarked the condition of the princeps as the textus receptus consented by the author. Finally, it is argued that the first edition should be the basis of a critical edition of the Buscón.
