Resumen de Retos y realidades a enfrentar para una educación turística inclusiva

  El desarrollo del turismo como estrategia para transformar la matriz productiva de Ecuador, demanda mejoras en las diferentes modalidades turísticas que ofrecen los destinos. De ahí la necesidad de incursionar en el turismo inclusivo. La Universidad Técnica de Manabí, está inmersa en el diseño curricular de la carrera de Turismo. Ésta se proyecta y se compromete con la educación turística inclusiva, intento renovador, respecto a los currículos analizados en el estudio de pertinencia y mediante la aplicación de la pedagogía comparada a mallas curriculares ecuatorianas, latinoamericanas, europeas, asiáticas y norteamericanas, tema que, a juicio de los autores del artículo, ha sido poco abordado en los entornos educativos de las instituciones de Educación Superior donde existen pocas experiencias internacionales sustentadas desde la Pedagogía como ciencia de la educación del hombre/mujer, comprometida con entregar a la sociedad seres humanos plenos, capaces de construir un mundo mejor. El artículo se propone ofrecer reflexiones teóricas y metodológicas sobre el turismo inclusivo para potenciar desde la carrera de Turismo, la educación turística inclusiva. En los resultados se plantean los factores y estrategias a considerar y las principales direcciones estratégicas para lograr este empeño.

  The development of tourism as a strategy to transform the productive matrix of Ecuador, demands improvements in the different tourist modalities offered by destinations. Hence the need to venture into inclusive tourism. The Technical University of Manabí, is immersed in the curricular design of the Tourism career. It is projected and committed to inclusive tourism education, a renewal attempt, with respect to the curricula analyzed in the pertinence study and through the application of pedagogy compared to Ecuadorian, Latin American, European, Asian and North American curricula. The authors of the article, has been little approached in the educational environments of institutions of higher education where there are few international experiences supported by Pedagogy as a science of education of man / woman, committed to delivering to society full human beings, Capable of building a better world. The article proposes to offer theoretical and methodological reflections on inclusive tourism to promote tourism career, inclusive tourism education. The results show the factors and strategies to be considered and the main strategic directions to achieve this.
