Resumen de Las subversivas heroínas de Gyp y su impronta feminista en la prensa hispana del ocaso decimonónico

Desde la última veintena del siglo xix hasta los albores de la siguiente centuria, numerosas fueron las piezas teatrales que la escritora francesa Sibylle Gabrielle Marie-Antoinette de Riquetti de Mirabeau (1849-1932), con el nom de plume de Gyp, hizo representar dentro y fuera de la escena francófona. Paradójicamente, tanto esta producción teatral como sus novelas, dotadas de una manifiesta conciencia feminista, quedarían con el devenir de los años sepultadas en el olvido más absoluto. La dramaturgia feminista de Gyp y su percepción en la prensa hispana serán, pues, las principales líneas de investigación sobre las que se encauzará nuestro estudio, cuyas temáticas interpretaremos en clave de género.

From the last twenty years of the 19th century until the beginning of the next one, a great number of plays would be performed in the French scene and beyond by the French writer Sibylle Gabrielle Marie-Antoinette de Riquetti de Mirabeau (1849-1932), better known as Gyp. Paradoxically, both this theatrical production and her novels, endowed with an obvious feminist consciousness, would fade into oblivion over the years. Therefore, the feminist theater of Gyp and its perception in the Hispanic context will thus be the main research areas of our study, whose themes will be inter preted from a gender perspective.
