    El present article pretén comprendre com el socialisme va influir amb el seu ideari a Barcelona durant el Trienni Esparterista (1840-1843), per a la qual cosa ens centrarem en un dels mitjans de difusió d’idees: la premsa. A través de les publicacions periòdiques progressistes i republicanodemòcrates analitzarem com es donà aquesta transmissió d’idees en relació amb el context històric concret i quins efectes tingué això, des de la debilitat o absència de cossos doctrinals d’autor fins a la consolidació d’un discurs social al si del liberalisme més avançat

    This paper seeks to understand how socialism and its ideas exerted an influence on Barcelona during the three years of the Espartero regime (1840-1843). To this end, it focuses on one of the forms of media employed to disseminate ideas: the printed press. Through an examination of progressive and democratic republican periodical publications, the analysis explores how the transmission of ideas took place in relation to the specific historical context and it looks at the ensuing effects, from the weakness or absence of independently formulated doctrines to the consolidation of a social discourse at the very heart of the most advanced liberalism
