The article revisits the debate about spatiality, sculpture and resistance brought by Anarchitecture, a group of artists. It recounts an exhibition of drawings and photographs held by Anarchitecture at 112 Greene Street in New York City in March 1974. A particular focus is given to the work of U.S. artist Gordon Matta-Clark who demonstrated his interests in zones of contradiction, trespass and vitality.
