Se presenta un marco de referencia de modelado de empresas con un enfoque holístico (MRHME) y una orientación a la gestión empresarial (management). Se da una visión general incluyendo los componentes que lo integran: espacio de los modelos, metamodelos y modelos, puntos de vista y vistas, lenguaje de modelado y metodología de modelado. Se incluye una descripción de un caso de aplicación en un centro de investigación y desarrollo universitario.Palabras clave: Modelado, empresas, marco de referencia, requisitos.

This article presents a reference framework for modeling companies with a holistic approach (MRHME) and an orientation to business management (management). An overview is given including the components that make it up. Being these: The space of the models, which is the component where the models are housed. The meta-models and models, which is where ideas and concepts are formed. The views, which are the mechanisms to define the views of the models. The modeling language; to be able to express the models, MRHME has developed a specific modeling language. The language has been named Language of Holistic Modeling of the Company (LMHE), and in its development, it has been used as a basis the languages of system architecture description; finally it has been defined the methodology of modeling. The methodology proposed for MRHME (component called MMHE) includes three main phases: planning, construction, and validation. In the planning phase, all activities must be carried out to determine the main aspects that will be necessary for the subsequent construction of the model. In the construction phase they must carry out the typical modeling activities: collect the information, create the model, structure it, represent it and verify it, finally, the validation will be the activity that will determine if the model fits the purpose sought. As a case of application, a description of a case study is included in a university research and development center. It was obtained with this application, a preliminary evidence of validation in one of the MRHME applications, its usefulness in the knowledge of the company when contributing its holistic model and two of its views: global and company concept. The consideration of an integrated form of the most relevant aspects in the operation and results of a company, together with its clear and unambiguous orientation to business management (management) will allow its incorporation into the set of methodological tools available to the community of business management.
