  • An editorial is presented which addresses the author's views about hearing aid affordability and accessibility as of 2018, and it mentions another article which appears in the same issue of the journal and deals with hearing loss and hearing aid use by older adults in China. The World Health Organization's audiological testing protocols are examined, along with Chinese public health and the potential relationship between hearing and dementia.
