• An editorial is presented which addresses the authors' views about the lack of a Hepatitis C virus (HCV) preventive vaccine, and it mentions opioid abuse epidemics and another article which appears in the same issue of the journal and deals with an increase in the number of reported acute cases of HCV in the U.S. The Treatment Episode Data Set-Admissions (TEDS) system and substance use treatments are examined, as well as syringe service programs, pharmacotherapies, and HCV treatment.
