  • The article discusses the "Facing Addiction in America: The Surgeon General's Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health" report which was issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of the Surgeon General, and it mentions how the drug overdose death rate for teenage opioid abusers in America increased in 2015. Opioid addiction and opioid abuse treatment are examined, along with U.S. public health, early substance use initiation, and tobacco use in the country.
