  • The article discusses CT imaging (Computed tomography) and how it can be used in disease screening. Particular focus is given to how CT scans can diagnose problems including heart disease, lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Details relating to the risks of tobacco and radiation exposure are also offered.
