    • The article discusses various health care reforms in America in relation to the concept of consumer-directed health care for Medicaid health insurance patients as of 2017. Attempts to repeal and replace the U.S. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act are addressed in relation to American President Donald Trump and the possibility that Republican legislators will reshape America's health policy. Medicaid costs and medical decision making are assessed.
