  • The article discusses the typology of conflict of interests in population health research, including conflict of interests and cognitive bias in journals' publishing of research articles and conflict in epidemiological research. It comments on the differences between financial and nonfinancial conflict of interests in public health research. The impact that social networks have on conflict of interests is discussed.
