  • An editorial is presented which addresses the concept of a public health of consequence in America, and it mentions the author's views about how career guidance and mentorship, multisectoral work, and the ability to lead and follow can impact the careers of public health practitioners as of 2017. The role of a public health worker as a mentor is examined, along with career changes and opportunities to work in various sectors such as the government and academia.
