  • This editorial discusses oversampling of lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) populations to gather meaningful public health statistics for the relatively small population group. An example of a poll or survey to determine the incidence of hypertension is presented. Possible problems associated with oversampling are detailed.
