Resumen de Enhancing HIV/AIDS Surveillance in the Philippines to Ensure the Transgender Population's Visibility.
An editorial is presented which addresses the author's views about the enhancement of the Philippines' HIV/AIDS public health surveillance and the health of the transgender persons in the country. An effort to combat an HIV/AIDS epidemic is examined, along with the Philippines Department of Health, an Antiretroviral Therapy Registry, and the Filipino HIV/AIDS policy. The development of an HIV/AIDS survey is assessed, along with transgender terminology.
