  • An editorial is presented which addresses the author's views about a Hurricane Irma-related humanitarian crisis in Florida, and it mentions several other articles which appear in the same issue of the journal and deal with topics such as guidelines for natural disasters and evacuation orders. Patterns of daily life and American public health issues are examined, along with wind- and rain-related damage to homes. The author's personal experiences during Hurricane Irma are assessed.
