An editorial is presented which addresses the authors' views about the associations between green space, urban climate, and heat-related mortality, and it mentions another article which appears in the same issue of the journal and examines the potential health benefits that are connected to a green space-related heat mitigation strategy. The possible impacts of urban infrastructure and landscape changes on heat-related health risks are assessed.
