  • The authors reflect on the efforts of U.S. President Barack Obama's Administration to improve population health in the nation, and it mentions issues involving access to health care and social services, as well as education quality, diet, and housing in America. The U.S. government's policies on job security, domestic abuse prevention, and environmental toxins are assessed, along with community health needs and Title IV of the U.S. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
