  • Resumen
    • The article focuses on obesity among nurses who work the night shift and what is needed to prevent it. It states that swing shift and night shift work disrupts circadian rhythms and results in a slowed resting metabolism. It recommends hospitals provide free healthy snack foods for night shift and other employees which should result in more productive employees and reduced absenteeism. It considers the impact of full-spectrum lighting on limiting circadian disruption and encouraging exercise.
