Resumen de Public Health Policies: Go Local!

• The article discusses the reasons why the authors believe that public health (PH) practitioners in America should focus on local PH practice-related issues as of 2017, and it mentions how local PH policies can address health disparities and counteract the U.S. political gridlock and dysfunction that occurs on the national level. Population health and the risks associated with pandemics and epidemics are examined, along with policies protecting the safety of drinking water, food, and air.
