  • The author discusses oral health disparities among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Topics include the impact of poor oral health on the quality of life among racial-ethnic minority populations, limited-English-proficient populations, and low-income populations, the lack of research data on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders despite both groups being the fastest-growing population in the U.S., and access to dental care at federally qualified health centers.
