    La transformación de cualquier práctica social, como el juego infantil, acompañado de la transformación del juguete ya sea como artefacto que facilita la actividad del juego, ya sea como estereotipo que delimita la belleza infantil y/o tecnología que permite al sujeto insertarse a la realidad contemporánea se constituyen, en su conjunto, en una entrada para problematizar los tiempos de la infancia y sus profundos cambios. Por lo demás, el discurso del juego fue decantado por disciplinas como la historia, la psicología y la sociología, las cuales se constituyen en una importante rejilla de especificación en torno a lo qué es dicha actividad para el niño en su proceso de socialización. El discurso del juego como actividad socializadora, la importancia del juguete y su transformación en las últimas décadas del siglo XX e inicios del XXI, se constituyeron en condiciones de posibilidad para el surgimiento de la infancia contemporánea en Colombia.

    The transformation of any social practice, as the child, accompanied by the transformation of the toy game as an artifact that facilitates the activity of the game, either as a stereotype which defines child beauty or technology that allows the subject to inserted into the contemporary reality constitute, as a whole, in a post to problematize times of childhood and its profound changes. Moreover, the speech of the game was opted for disciplines such as history, psychology and sociology, which constitute an important grid of specification around what is the activity for the child in the  process of socialization. The discourse of play as socializing activity, the importance of the toy and its transformation in the last decades of the 20th century and early 21st century, is constituted in conditions of possibility for the emergence of contemporary childhood in Colombia.
