    La Universidad, como institución académica, docente e investigadora se ha convertido en los últimos años en sede de almacenamiento de una gran riqueza patrimonial como símbolo de identidad en su trayectoria. Con motivo del I encuentro de Museos Universitarios de Perú, VIII encuentro de Museos Universitarios del Mercosur y V de Latinoamérica, he tenido la oportunidad de conocer y visitar el panorama de instituciones académicas vinculadas con el patrimonio universitario de la capital del Perú. Este artículo recoge los ejemplos de tres universidades, dos públicas y una privada, donde también se relacionan con los ejemplos museográficos del resto de la ciudad.

    The University, as an academic institution, teacher and researcher, has become in the last few years the headquarters of storage of a great heritage wealth as a symbol of identity in its history. On the occasion of the firts meeting of the university museums of Peru, eighth Meeting of University Museums of Mercosur and fifth of Latin America, I have been the opportunity to meet and visit the view of academic institutions linked to the university heritage of the capital of Peru. This article collects the examples of three universities; it is also related to the museographic examples of the rest of the city.
