Autor de la Oración fúnebre a la muerte de Carlos III, poeta, coleccionista numismático, crítico de la Inquisición, polemista, estudioso del arte castellano, y erudito. Representa una figura menor de la Escuela Poética del Siglo XVIII, inspirada en la tradición clásica, la herencia castellana de Fray Luis de León y Garcilaso de la Vega, y secuaz del ideario neoclásico de Naturaleza.
Study of the life and work of the Augustinian Andrés del Corral, Professor of the Faculty of theology of the University of Valladolid, author of the funeral oration on the death of Carlos III, poet, collector Numismatic, critical of the Inquisition, polemicist, and scholar of Spanish art. Corral represents a secondary figure of the school of poetry of the 18th century, inspired by the classical tradition, the Castilian heritage of Fray Luis de Leon and Garcilaso de la Vega, and henchman of the neoclassical ideals of nature.
