Suplementação de cafeína e sua relação com o aumento da força muscular: uma revisão integrativa

      he present research has as objective to verify the possible ergogenic effect from caffeine supplementation in relation to the muscle strength increase and boosting the performance.The methodology used was the explained integrative review, which allows the idea synthesis and knowledge from each author by a bibliographic review. The instruments used were a compilation of 17 articles, that attended the research criteria, between 2006 and 2015. The terms used for the search were the following: caffeine, strength, ergogenic effect, in the indexers data base: Scielo, Bireme e academic Google. The study process was done by the collect of information based from secondary sources, related to the knowledge of the authors about the subject e its arguments. The inclusion criteria for the articles were: year, coherence with the research subject, caffeine use in tests of muscle strength and fatigue. It can be affirmed that the caffeine has central actions and peripheral in the body, which can interfere on the performance by the decrease of the fatigue, optimization of the muscle contraction, lesser perception of the effort, and, increase of the lipolysis.

      O presente estudo tem como finalidade verificar o possível efeito ergogênico da suplementação de cafeína em relação ao aumento da força muscular e potencializando a performance. A metodologia empregada foi a revisão integrativa explicativa, que proporciona uma síntese de ideias e conhecimentos de cada autor por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica. Os instrumentos empregados foram a compilação de 17 artigos, que atendiam os critérios da pesquisa, entre 2006 e 2015. Os termos usados para a busca foram os seguintes: cafeína, força, efeito ergogênico, nas bases de dados dos indexadores: Scielo, Bireme e Google acadêmico. A abordagem do estudo se deu por meio da coleta de informações fundamentada a partir de fontes secundárias, relacionadas ao conhecimento dos autores sobre o assunto e suas argumentações. Os critérios de inclusão dos artigos foram: ano, coerência com o assunto da pesquisa, uso da cafeína em testes de força ou fadiga muscular. Pode-se afirmar que a cafeína possui ações centrais e periféricas no corpo, que podem interferir na performance por meio da diminuição da fadiga, otimização da contração muscular, menor percepção subjetiva de esforço e aumento da lipólise. ABSTRACT Ergogenic effects of caffeine supplementation in relation to muscle force increase: an integrating reviewhe present research has as objective to verify the possible ergogenic effect from caffeine supplementation in relation to the muscle strength increase and boosting the performance.The methodology used was the explained integrative review, which allows the idea synthesis  and knowledge from each author by a bibliographic review.
