En este trabajo trato de algunos de los elementos contemplados por Lope de Vega en su “Arte Nuevo”, y en su producción dramática, presentes de forma embrionaria en una de las piezas más significativas, Himenea, del que será precursor del género, Torres Naharro. El motivo del honor, como elemento fundamental sobre el que se construye la intriga, es centro de atención con la finalidad de estudiar comparativamente el tratamiento otorgado a este motivo por Torres Naharro y Lope de Vega en El castigo sin venganza, el último texto escrito por el Fénix para la escena.
This article addresses some of the elements contemplated by Lope de Vega in his “Arte Nuevo”, and in his dramatic production, which are present in an embryonic form in one of the most significant pieces, Himenea, writen by Torres Naharro, the precursor of the genre. The motive of honor, as a fundamental element on which the intrigue is built, is the focus of attention in order to study comparatively the treatment given to this motive by Torres Naharro and Lope de Vega in El castigo sin venganza, the last text written by the “Fénix” for the scene.
