Resumen de Predicción de volúmenes de exceso molar de mezclas binarias alcohol-solvente desde índices de refracción

El volumen de exceso molar de 38 mezclasbinarias que contienen alcohol: (metanol, etanol,1-propanol, 1-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol,1-heptanol, 1-octanol, 1-decanol, 2-propanol,2-butanol, 2-pentanol, 2-metil-1-propanol y3-metil-1-butanol) con diferentes solventes:(pentano, hexano, heptano, octano, ciclohexano,metilciclohexano, 1,1,2,2-tetracloroetano,acetonitrilo, etilbenceno, o-xileno, m-xileno,p-xileno, 2-butanona, acetato de etilo, 1-etil-3-metilimidazolio etilsulfato y agua), se predice desdedatos de índice de refracción, usando 3 tipos demétodos acoplados con diferentes reglas de mezclapara el cálculo del índice de refracción: Lorentz-Lorenz, Dale-Gladstone, Eykman, Arago-Biot,Newton y Oster. En estos sistemas las interaccionesmoleculares y fuerzas intermoleculares durante lamezcla provocan desviaciones positivas o negativasdel comportamiento ideal. Los resultados obtenidosson analizados en términos de la naturaleza delos componentes y la influencia de la longitud decadena del alcohol.

The excess molar volumes of 38 binary mixturescontaining alcohol: (methanol, ethanol, propan-1-ol, butan-1-ol, pentan-1-ol, hexan-1-ol,heptan-1-ol, octan-1-ol, decan-1-ol, propan-2-ol, butan-2-ol, pentan-2-ol, 2-methylpropan-1-oland 3-methylbutan-1-ol) with different solvents:(pentane, hexane, heptane, octane, cyclohexane,methyl cyclohexane, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane,acetonitrile, ethyl benzene, o-xylene, m-xylene,p-xylene, 2-butanone, ethyl acetate, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethyl sulfate and water),were predicted from the refractive index data,using 3 types of methods coupled with severaldifferent mixing rules for refractive indexcalculations: Lorentz-Lorenz, Dale-Gladstone,Eykman, Arago-Biot, Newton and Oster. Inthese systems, molecular interactions andintermolecular forces during mixing producepositive or negative deviations from idealbehavior. The results are analyzed in terms ofthe nature of the components and the influenceof alcohol chain length.
