Resumen de Un estudio sobre la negación en el niño

Con este artículo intentamos estudiar la función de la negación en el lenguaje infantil, y hacemos una crítica del estudio realizado por Antinucci y Volterra.
Se ha grabado el lenguaje espontáneo de treinta niños con edades comprendidas entre 1,0 y 3,0, durante cuatro sesiones de treinta minutos para cada uno. Se han analizado y clasificado en cinco grupos todas las expresiones negativas atendiendo a la particular situación del hablante (presuposiciones incluídas) y a los efectos sobre el oyente.
Se concluye que las expresiones negativas del niño tienen un valor plurifuncional: el niño las usa para controlar una acción, corregir una información y expresar una emoción. Esta plurifuncionalidad la va adquiriendo en el contacto con la comunidad verbal de la que forma parte.

The paper attempts to explore the function of negation in children�s natural language, and critisize the �pragmatic� approach with reference to Antinucci-Volterra�s work.
The spontaneus language of thirty children aged 1;3-3;0 years was recorded during four thiry minutes sessions. Negative utterances were analysed and classified into five groups according to the particular situations and presupposition of the speaker and the particular effects on the listener.
We conclude that child negations have a multifunctional value: children use them for controlling an action, correcting information and showing emotions. This is gradually acquired through contact with the verbal community to which they belong
