Se estudia el contexto histórico, político y cultural de varios momentos clave en la obra del pintor y escultor Agustín Ibarrola, siguiendo el hilo conductor de sus aportaciones al patrimonio artístico y cultural de Cantabria. desde los años sesenta hasta 2014. Se incluyen diversos hitos artísticos como las exposiciones de pintura (Santander, 1963 y 1974; Torrelavega, 1980) y de escultura (Santander, 1997 y Santillana del Mar, 2000), así como diversos trabajos de arte escultórico público (Paraninfo de la Universidad de Cantabria, Santander, 2000; Campa de la Magdalena, Santander, 2005; y Reinosa, 2013-2014)

The historical, political and cultural context of several key moments in the work of the painter and sculptor Agustín Ibarrola is studied following the common thread of his contributions to the artistic and cultural heritage of Cantabria. from the sixties to 2014.
