  • The article reports on how governments of participating countries in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil are working to protect their athletes from the Zika virus spreading in the host nation. Topics discussed include estimates by the Health Ministry on new cases identified in the first half of 2016 and the manner of transmission. The installation of window screens in the rooms of Team Canada and the protective wear to be used by South Korean athletes are mentioned.
