  • The article examines the assumptions about the safety of e-cigarettes. Topics discussed include the impact of tobacco smoking on health, the introduction of e-cigarettes to the market in the early 2000s, and the lack of data which demonstrate the health risks presented by these products, particularly on the flavorings and other additives that they carry. The lack of regulation on the use of chemical additives is mentioned.
