    En su obra tardía Lukács investiga las categorías ontológicas materialistas que definen la “esencia genérica humana”. En ella arriba a la categoría de “reflejo”, un proceso cognoscitivo que incluye un movimiento recursivo entre el sujeto y el objeto, actualizado durante el trabajo, que permite al sujeto conocer el mundo objetivo e intervenir en él. El artículo plantea que, en tal movimiento, ocurre una estrategia interpretativa que corresponde con el “círculo de la interpretación” desarrollado por la tradición hermenéutica.

    In his later work, Lukács investigates the materialistic ontological categories that define the “generic human essence”. He arrives to the category of “reflection”, a cognitive process that includes a recursive movement between subject and object, updated during the social praxis, which allows the subject to know the objective world and intervene in it. The article states that, in such a movement, an interpretative strategy occurs that we can identify with that of the “circle of interpretation” developed in the hermeneutic tradition.
