    Esta investigación se realiza en el municipio de la Vega Alta de la Región de Murcia y pretende comprender los significados del uso social del tiempo no productivo asociado a las labores agrícolas. El estudio aborda los significados del uso del tiempo de ocio como parte del proceso de producción: la centralidad de esta actividad como contrapunto del tiempo de trabajo; la disponibilidad sobre el uso de este tiempo y su capacidad para generar identidades sociales/grupales. Las premisas teóricas de partida arrojan luz a unas actividades que van más allá del mero tiempo de descanso. La metodología cualitativa se sirve del análisis de las narraciones de los sujetos para reflexionar sobre el sentido del ocio/tiempo no productivo y sus utilidades

    This investigation carries out in the municipality of the Vega Alta (Región of Murcia) and has as intention understand the meanings of the social use of the not productive time associated with the agricultural labors. The study approaches the meanings of the use of the time of leisure as a part of the process of production: the central position of this activity like dispute of the time of work; the availability on the use of this time and his aptitude to generate identities. The theoretical premises throw light to a few activities that go beyond the time of rest. The qualitative methodology is served the analysis of the stories of the subjects to think about the sense of the not productive leisure / time and his usefulness.
