    La Corona de Castilla experimentó durante el siglo XV, un proceso de transición en casi todos sus aspectos, centrándonos en este estudio en elaborar una síntesis sobre la evolución política (reinados de Juan II, Enrique IV y los Reyes Católicos), literaria (“Prerrenacentista” y “Prehumanista”) y artística (arte tardogótico o “ arte Isabel”). Todos estos cambios político-culturales que se sucedieron en Castilla a lo largo de esta centuria “bisagra” entre la Edad Media y la Edad Moderna, prepararon de manera lenta pero contundente el proceso de “renacimiento” que dio paso a la entrada y posterior difusión del Renacimiento.

    The Castilian Crown experimented during XV century, a process of transition in almost all its aspects. In this research we focus in elaborating a synthesis on the political evolution (being king Juan II, Enrique IV and Catholic Kings), literary ("Prerenaissance" and "Prehumanist) and artistic (lategothic art or "Isabel style art"). All these political-cultural changes that followed one another in Castile during this century that acted as a "hinge" between the Middle Ages and the Modern Age, prepared of slow but forceful way the "Renaissance" that paved the way for the introduction and later disseminaton of the Renaissance.
