  • The article recommends saving cultural sites in three-dimensional (3D) digital libraries. Topics covered include the risk of losing heritage sites due to factors such as war, climate change and pollution, the digital preservation of heritage sites through partnerships of governments, universities, industry and nonprofit organizations, and the 3-D-laser-scanning systems developed by the nonprofit CyArk founded by Ben Kacyra.
