  • Sukel interviews Morgan E Levine who researches the genetics of ageing and longevity at the University of California in Los Angeles and whose research paper on long-lived smokers is published in The Journals of Gerontology. Among other things, what drew her to old-age smokers when investigating the genetic basis of longevity and how old one had to be to qualify as a long-lived smoker for this study.
