    A pesar de ser una de las economías con crecimiento más estable de América Latina, Colombia necesita promover un mayor crecimiento sustentable e inclusivo en el largo plazo, que le permitirá consolidar la clase media y superar la trampa del ingreso medio. Para ello este documento resalta un ejercicio de priorización de políticas públicas entre las cuales se identifica la necesidad de fortalecer las instituciones, incrementar la calidad y la equidad de la educación, mejorar la recaudación fiscal y profundizar la inclusión en los mercados financieros.

    Despite being one of the most dynamic economies in Latin America, Colombia needs to promote a higher sustainable and inclusive long-term growth that allows the consolidation of the middle class and to surpass the middle-income trap. Considering this, this article highlights an exercise that identifies key policy priorities for a higher inclusive and sustainable work. Policies identified include the need of strengthen the rule of law, more quality and inclusive education, improvements in the taxation system and more inclusive financial markets.
