Abstract. New data are provided about the distribution of Reduvius carinatus Reuter, 1892 in Spain, which is the only European country where it is known. In Europe, the species was reported the first time in the province of Almería (Ribes, 1986) but the record was forgotten or considered doubtful in some posterior papers. Recently two specimens have been photographed in Ciudad Real, which identification has been verified comparing them to the specimen from Almería of Jordi Ribes collection (Barcelona).
